Mnemotecnia

Mnemotecnia
Mnemonics or mnemonics come from the Greek Mnémon (one who remembers) and Tékhne (art). We could define it as a set of techniques that allow to memorize quickly.

The first written document on the subject tells the story of Simonides of Ceos, a Greek poet who lived between the 5th and 6th centuries B.C., who was saved by the gods from a collapse where all the guests were crushed and disfigured to death, was able to remember the location of each person and thus identify the dead.

The mnemonic learning technique, or image association, is based on linking information to be remembered with visually memorable images or concepts. By creating visual connections between elements, information retention is facilitated. This technique takes advantage of the brain's ability to remember images more effectively than abstract data. By associating concepts with vivid images or imaginary situations, memory is enhanced and recall is facilitated during the learning process.
